Panthers star inspires youth at Wyong 3on3

A day of 3on3 basketball, art, music and good health will hit Bateau Bay, when the Vibe 3on3 comes to town 12 March.

Joining the Vibe 3on3 is former Harlem Globe Trotter Dwayne Cross and Penrith Panthers star Maurice Blair.

Young people from across the Wyong Shire and beyond will converge on Bateau Bay PCYC as the area hosts the first-ever Vibe 3on3®.  read more

On a roll

The massive indoor park that’s the home of international skateboard company Zero in California is a long way from the dusty streets of Geraldton in WA.

But that’s exactly where 26-year-old Aaron Nannup found himself last year, standing alongside his skating hero Jamie Thomas. He had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.

You see, when Aaron began skating at age 17, he never expected it would give him the opportunity to travel outside of Geraldton, let alone to the other side of the world.
